Miranda Rock

Working primarily with executive clients, as well as individuals at all levels, and with groups, Miranda has been involved with developing and delivering coaching and training sessions for the last 20 years. An experienced coach and counsellor, with over 5,000 hours of one to one practice, she aligns her understanding of human behaviour with her business experience of working in HR at a senior level.

Coaching style

Miranda believes that self awareness produces self development. Using warmth, support and challenge, her experience and training allow her to help clients achieve their potential, while retaining a pragmatic business approach, resulting in clients committing to actions which ally with their values and skills, while delivering results to their organisations.

Maternity Coaching

Over the past few years Miranda has provided executive coaching for a number of women in organisations such as Deutsche Bank, KPMG, and HSBC. As well as her previous HR experience in negotiating maternity leave and return to work arrangements, she brings to maternity coaching her past experience as a working mother, and her current experience of witnessing her daughters and daughter-in-law make individual and varied decisions around working and motherhood.

Background

Before becoming a full time coach and trainer, Miranda spent 10 years in senior HR positions in the offshore financial and legal sector. Additionally, she has over 25 years experience in counselling, both voluntary and private, and ran her own company providing counselling services to businesses.

Qualifications

Miranda is an Accredited Member of the Association for Coaching, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is also a Licensed Practitioner for Insights Discovery, and is experienced in the use of this psychological profiling tool.
